PRINCIPAL DESIGNER & OWNER

Cat launched Cat French Design to be a creative partner to her clients throughout the entire process, taking on the big design challenges and thinking outside the box to create something unique for each and every space. She believes that no two clients are alike- and no two spaces should be, either. Her goal is a design that is centered around you, your life, and your vision for a space you will love for a lifetime.

After completing a Bachelor of Arts from Wake Forest University, Cat went on to earn a Master of Fine Arts from the Interior Architecture program at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro. With nearly a decade of residential design experience, she skillfully navigates the complexities and nuances of bringing custom spaces to life. She has created dream homes, forever homes, vacation homes—and she approaches each project with the same client-centered mindset and dedication to excellence. 

Cat and the CFD team work with your inspirations, championing your desires until every last detail is placed. Seamlessly weaving beauty and function, she creates timeless spaces specifically curated to you.

Cat is happiest when she’s surrounded by color and her much-loved houseplant collection. When she’s not out in the garden, she’s cooking up creative meals for her family or enjoying sunset walks with her two rescue pups.

    Hannah Sain

    JUNIOR DESIGNER

    Hannah is a recent graduate of Meredith College, and is excited to begin her career in Interior Design. Hannah brings fresh creativity and a “people first” mindset to every project. Building genuine connections with clients is one of her favorite parts of the design process. By listening carefully to their needs, preferences, and vision, she helps create spaces that feel uniquely theirs. She enjoys exploring multiple design concepts and refining every detail until the final result feels just right. Seeing a client's excitement during that unforgettable "awe" moment at the end of a project is what inspires her the most. Outside of design, you'll usually find her playing with or taking her Springer Spaniel, Orson, on long walks. She’s also a big family person, so spending quality time with them is always a priority. On weekends, she loves to grab a coffee and exploring local thrift stores!

    Julian Jones

    DESIGN TECHNICIAN

    A graduate of the Interior Architecture program at UNC Greensboro, Julian brings a creative curiosity and drive to his role at CFD. He is involved in every stage of design, from technical schematics and renderings, research and selections, to finding solutions for thorny design and installation challenges. He is always willing to do whatever it takes to ensure every detail is attended to and every client is enthusiastically satisfied. Maybe it’s those innate qualities that helped him achieve Eagle Scout status in his teens. Originally from Baltimore, he loves getting creative by painting and cooking. Other times, he’s scouting out historical sites to visit. When he’s not on the go, Julian loves relaxing in the water, hanging out with his cats, and being with loved ones.

    Ryan Gardner

    INSTALLATION MANAGER

    When the designs are all done and the vision is cast, Ryan steps in. She is the indispensable boots-on-the-ground lead for our installation team. Working behind the scenes, she reliably handles all of the details, checklists and tasks that ensure a seamless, intentional transition from design to implementation. She holds a degree from North Carolina State University in Horticulture which makes her our de facto in-house plant and outdoor space specialist. She was previously employed at a Fortune 500 home décor and custom art provider.

    Krista Camp

    OPERATIONS MANAGER

    Krista is our official ringleader, with a genuine passion for creating an environment where team members thrive professionally and creatively. While keeping track of the millions of things happening in the studio, she also keeps a perceptive eye on the big picture. An organizational expert, Krista has lived all over the US, and in Ecuador as a Peace Corps Volunteer. She loves to stay busy traveling, spending time outdoors, and is always up for learning about new cultures, food and languages.

    Sarah Persia

    MARKETING DIRECTOR

    A life-long learner, Sarah holds a Master’s Degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and joined the CFD team after a decade of experience in the business, research, and direct service sides of the healthcare industry. He perceptive communications are often what people experience first about our organization. Her work is as authentically expressive and relationship-forward as anything we do with design. And, Sarah’s efforts support our community of clients, design enthusiasts, followers, vendors, partners, and friends. A native North Carolinian, she and her husband are avid outdoor adventurers who find any excuse to get outside. When she’s not typing a million miles a minute, you can find her running, mountain biking or having a dance party in the kitchen with her two feisty and fabulous daughters.

    Kimberly Bojovic

    FINANCIAL MANAGER

    Kimberly is our Cash Flow Queen, managing all things financial and forecasting for our company. She joined our team after taking time to raise her two young children. She graduated from California State University Northridge where she played collegiate golf. Before diving into the world of spreadsheets, she was a golf professional in Las Vegas, Nevada. Outside of work at the studio, Kimberly loves looking at the numbers, especially her husband’s checkbook, running the trails in her neighborhood and playing golf with her family.
